Default Problem with the cold

It finally got cold here and whenever it is below about 40 degrees outside my car does not start on the first try. It turns over, revs to about 1500 then sputters and dies. Sometimes it takes 4 or 5 attempts to get it running. I noticed this summer that I do have a slight miss and do not remember the last time plugs and wires were changed, so thats what im leaning towards, just want to make sure its not the opti or something else...thanks

what happens the second time you start it, starts fine, or you have to rev it to keep it running???

well, if the plugs and wires are really that old, I would definately start there. then diagnose from there. let us know what it does when you change those out...
