LT1 swap Does anyone know any good sites besides ebay to find 96-97 LT1 engines? I am looking for one to build to put in my 97 RS. Also does anyone know if the tranny one the V6 will bolt to a LT1?

There are some pretty good sites where a bunch of salvage yards list there inventory. I found them by doing a google search for "used auto Parts". No go on the trans. You will be needing one from behind a V-8. Good luck.

I wanted to stay OBD2 for emmison test purpouses. In NC they do a annual obd2 emmison state inspection test and I want to keep it street legal. I am fairly new to the f-body sceane and I am wanting to do either a LS1 or LT1 swap on my 97 RS.
