Default OMG!!! Tranny wont shift! its on teh trailer! HELP!!

So i was driving down a local highway and everything was running normal when BAM! I try to upshift into 5th and she wont go, then i try to go back to fourth and she wont go, i try any other gear....she wont engage! So i pull over and turn the car off thinking maybe the transmission is just off. I can engage all gears while the car is off, the clutch feels normal. However, whenever i turn the car on right after shutting off....i hear this hissing/whine noise that i've never heard before. Also, we let it sit for about 3 hrs at a gas station and came back, same story. The hissing was gone but in order to get the car into gear it had to be pushed VERY VERY HARD ( like....i used both hands and im not a weak guy ). i realize this isnt right, so when the car tries to move while in gear, the whole car shakes. I dont know what is going on but i suspect either the clutch, slave cylinder or throw out bearing is bad.

Any ideas guys?

sounds like clutch. hard to get in gear can mean the clutch isnt fully disengaging, which could also point to the hydraulics. i doubt its the TO bearing

yea? it does engage while the car is off though. so thats what makes me thinks its not the clutch itself.

thats what i was thinking too. the reason i dont think its the TO bearing is because it does it with the clutch fully engaged right? if so, the TO bearing is not being used at this point
