I hope you guys can help me out
Here is what I wanted to set up
Crane 6000-6466 - HI-6TRC w/Timing Retard
Crane 730-0892 - Crane LX91, LX92 Coil
Crane 6000-6708 - GM HEI w/Ext. Coil Adapter Harness
I just tried ordering these thru' Summit, but they told me it wasn't compatible with my LT1 - because it has an optical trigger.
Looking at the fine print I can only find that the coil is only for 1995 and older non-OBD II vehicles with distributor-type CD ignition system.
Contacted Crane they reckon it "should" all be OK.. Wish they said WILL be OK.
On GMHP the fit a similar ignition, but with a magnetic trigger..
Whats going on ?
Have any of you guys installed these to your engine ?
Any & all info would really be appreciated.

That box will work just fine. Since you have OBD2, you have a different coil. You'll need a different adapter harness to go with it.

Why do you want an ignition box atall?
They can be good with nitrous is using them for window switch, retard and rev limiting, they are NOT a performance upgrade though.

Looking at the price and features I would MUCH sooner point you towards the Mallory 685.
