lost brakes
Ok so I was going out to eat with my girlfriend, we were going to a place in down town Pittsburgh rite across from PNC park. Rite before the parking lot I stopped at a red light. The peddle went have way to the floor and I felt the way the car stopped and I told my gf I think I just lost my back brakes, it was weird feeling. I parked and went to eat. When we came back out I started the car and went to put it into gear the no brakes my foot went to the floor. I looked under the car and saw under the right rear brake fluid all on the ground.
Lucky that a friend called I told him what was going on and He went to the auto store and got a cap so we disconected the rear brake line from the abs module and capped it so I only had front brakes, and refilled the reservor. all kind of air was in the line bairly made it home.

dealing with air in hydraulic style brakes is dangerous. You should have towed it. You just dont know if your going to be able to stop consistently if there is a lot of air in there. Like the above post mentions, how did the line all of the sudden leak?

the washer on the banjo bolt that acts as a seal wasnt seated rite and it leaked I couldnt beleive all the fluid came out in that small leak that quick. Thats all I could find I messed with it all day everything else was dry and no sign of leak anywhere.
