Default True LT1 Guys, NEED YOUR HELP OIL LEAK.

Ok guys,
I have a oil leak which is seemingly nitouris on the LT1 motors. Now before this motor comes back out and gets resealed again. I must be missing something that isnt a gasket and was wondering if some can help me out maybe set me in the right direction. The last time i resealed this block was 2 years ago, something has obvisiouly gone since then.

The leak is coming somewhere from the passanger side. It is getting thrown out onto the belt and up to the hood. It is not the intake manafold or vavle cover gasket.

any other suggestions ?

How far in the front is the oil leak coming from. Can you take a pic?

Well sounds like it is eaither the Water pump seal opti seal or front main.

Hard to tell with out pics.

BTW the A/C pumps are also notorious for leaking and making the same mess

unfornetly if i could come on with pics on where its coming from i'd know where it is, although i can show where its the oil is going, would that help ?

Also, if the motor is not on the car does not leak. It has to be presured to leak. any help ?

Pics will be up in an hour or so.

A/C is completey out of the car.

I think mine is leaking from the oil pan gasket. Might check there, but I don't think it'd make it to the hood that way.

id say be glad its from the front, you might be able to fix it without pulling the engine. rear main is the one that will make you mad.
