Car Dilema?!!!
Hey everyone!! I'm not new to the site, but haven't been on in about a year now. I'll start off, A yr ago i traded my 97 T/A in on a VW jetta, i know what ya 'll are gonna say. But, i like both, VW's and Pontiacs. I've had the t/a for about 4yrs as of the sale, and i regret it now more than ever, cuz it would have been paid off in june. Oh well, the jetta is paid off as of may 1st. but, I have that sold, too, but i bought a 92 GTI 16v. Something i've searched high and low for about 8yrs now. So, i spent the money on the gti, leaving my payment less.
I don't have great credit, so i'm looking at T/A or dumdumdumdumdum V8's that i can afford. I've found one that i like only 6900, red, 6sp, t-tops, and leather. I could get my payments to around 190 a month.
Now, i love both. Do i keep said GTI that is paid for, good performance, or get into another car payment for 2-3yrs. This sux cuz i want both, but i must decide.
PLz help

Going the f-body route will obviously equal to more money spent not only with the fact its not paid off but with gas, insurance, etc. Is it worth it? to me yes but I am a diehard f-body fan and would eat food out of a dumpster and wear rags before I would drive just about any other car in this world. I agree with Iron, you only live once. As long as you can assess everything and you wont be in a real financial pinch I say go for it.

Alright, I've been here long enough, seen it many times, and yet I still have no clue wth it means.
What is a "dumdumdumdumdum"? And why is whatever it is, called it?

Thanks for the input guys. I really miss my LT1, but i don't really miss the gas prices. I think i may keep my gti for a while since it took me so long to find one worth buying. I'm gonna save my money in the mean time and keep my eye out on another one, who knows in 6-8 months i could be driving another one while keeping my my gti. We'll see...
