Default 388?s

I got a 383 with 3.750 stroke 5.7 rods .030 over the cyliders were scored and the machinist says it might not clean up at .040 over but would at .060 but Ive heard it would have thin cylinder walls, would this cause it to run hot in a 96 TA and could you run nitrous or supercharger? Anyone have one of these 388s in a daily driver street/strip? Thanks

u have to have the block tested to see if it is up to it. i think they call it a sonci test or something along those lines but don't quote me. definitely don't bore it .060 over unless you have it tested.
