Default LT1 misfire

I have a bad misfire problem.. good news is I know part of the problem, its because its losing voltage... here is whats going on .. at about 5600-6000rpm .. my volt meter takes a dive like you wouldnt believe .. this is a recent problem and have not had it for over a year since the motor was put in. the car never dies (Im not sure how it doesnt) it just drops the volt gage and my lights go really dim and thats when i get the mis fire. Never happens any other time ever at all! Is this and alternator problem or a wiring issue? any insight would be appreciated thank you.

Sounds like coil or coil wire. It could also be icm, but I would check the coil and coil wire first.

maybe you have a bad belt tensioner and when you take it up that high it spins the belt on the alternator
