Default Header Bolts

i have a friend that is replacing his header bolts on his LT1 firebird....


anyone know where to get inverted hex/allen key bolts that will work??? i can imagine they will be much easier to work with........


or if you guys know where to get a decent set of replacement bolts..... greatly appreciate the help.... thanks

That is what I use, much easier. I usually get them from work...... but I was short one last time and the local Ace Hardware had them.

Those are called "socket head" bolts. Like these, right:

I bought a set of 12 for $5.50 from a "fastener shop". These businesses serve the
commercial industry, so you'll have to look in the yellow pages. You *CAN* get them
at Sears or most any hardware store too, but you're going to spend $2.00 a piece
for them - I highly recommend you search for a fastener store.

You might want to go to "maps.google.com" and type in "fastener [zipcode]" . . .
you dont need the quotes, and replace the [zipcode] with your zipcode and
google will try and find businesses with "fastener" in their name, in your
zipcode area.
