you need to keep adding water and bleeding it?

a) you may have a coolant leak
b) it may be a head gasket.

Do you have any steam coming out the exhaust? (after a small amount at startup of course)

Is it dripping coolant when parked and hot?

hang on... it leaks out the water pump area? Do you mean the weaping hole at the bottom?

This could just be a bad WP bearing.

Good time to press that baby out and go electric.

Is your water pump leaking, or is water escaping through the weeping hole?

If the car runs OK, then heats up like crazy, you might just have air in your cooling system. This happened to me the first time I did a coolant flush. Since our rads sit so low, you need to jack the front of the car up, so the rad is higher than the motor. Fill the rad, run the motor with the air bleed screws open for a thermocycle, and if it still overheats, repeat. This is the best way to clear the system of air, and get water in.

Good luck.

You might wana check the fan relays, one may be getting hot and not letting the fans come on.
