When my car is fully warmed up and I pull in somewhere shut the car off then restart it the idle will shoot up to about 15-1700 rpm then settles back down to normal but this takes a good minute or two. I have a buddy that has a 95 Z and his after startup (when warm) idles 550 -700 right off the bat. His is bone stock. Mine is a 94 Z and has the Hot cam with all the other bolt ons. And the tune is by Brian from PCM4less. Brian told me to crack the throttle blade which I have not done yet but I don't see how that can help. Does anyone have any ideas? What about a bad IAC??

i had a bad IAC in my car and it did a similar thing...now when i start it up it revs to about 1100 then down to idle

Could def be the IAC or TPS counts..had a sim problem a while back and everyone and their mom told me the same thing..ended up being 2 bad spark plugs and a burnt wire.
