mid tube headers??
couldn't find much on this so here goes:
i need headers
car=95 lt1 6speed
I'm thinkin kook's 1 3/4 or AS&M mid tube headers on stock lt1; power difference bewteen the two types(please only rear wheel #'s)
next what would be the power difference bewteen these two types of headers on a 383 w/le2 package (for example)? (please only rear wheel #'s)
thanks

^^^Your car sucks then.
Depends what your budget is. If your going all out with a nicely built 383 you may as well get the stainless longtubes. But there are also some cheaper longtubes around if can't afford the Kooks. Only reason I say mids is if you have ground clearance problems or if you just choose them by personal choice. That being said I have Mac mids, best plug clearance I have ever seen and excellent ground clearance in a lowered car.

The hands down choice for me would be the Kooks long tube headers. More power, stainless and great plug access. The Mac mids are not even on the same playing field as the Kooks.
