Do I need injectors? With my set up listed in the bottom of this, I was at the track two weekends ago and ran an 8.55 in the eighth. The problem I had was the 5000 rpm mark the engine was starting to miss/ hesitate. So far I've checked my coil and coil wire, which are both fine and I have a set of new plug wires that I hope will fix it.
What I'm wondering is if it could be the injectors? I've got a new fuel pump I installed two years ago, a 255. What do you guys think.

If the most you have is a Hotcam, I'd say no. However, injectors couldn't hurt. You'd need a tune though, but if you don't have a tune, you need one bad anyways.
