Default Found a "hole" in the fuel pump feed line.

The main feed 'Straw" line, it must have been rubbing on the bracket over time (its the original pump), now what would this do (if anything) to my fuel pressure? It did however have starting issues, but ran fine when running, would this cause it not to 'Prime" when key is turned 'ON", because it never did, i could never hear te "Buzz" when i turned the key on, so i guessed this is why it wouldn't bust right off.

So would that hole cause issues?

No pix, its just a hole, not a large hole (about the size of the tip off a pen), big enough too cause a leak within itself, it may not of been a big deal, but i'm shure it was affecting the pressure in some way.

Unless it's leaking it shouldn't affect anything.

The hole is in the feed line thats in the bucket with the pump.

Just did a test with a cup of water & a straw, put a hole in it, as long as the hole is submerged its fine, so i guess as long as the hole stayed in the fuel there wouldn't have been an problem, either way, i replaced it with some EFI hose.
