Default Front shocks

This morning I jacked up my car to do front brakes. The right front shock pissed out it's oil as I took up the car's weight.

These are KYB AGX shocks, the adjustable ones.

Now, they've always given a stiff ride, sometimes too hard for a daily driver.

Recommendations on what I should replace them with?

Shitty deal man... I'm currently running KYB GR-2's, which are the lesser expensive KYB option, but I've been very pleased with them thus far (had them in for a year). They're not an adjustable shock, but the ride quality is perfect IMO, and for the price, they can't be beat. I'm also running Intrax drop springs.

Since posting, I've done so research. I don't want to spend like $350+ per shock but I want something good. SLP/Bilstiens look good but I'd have to move the spring perch from the OEM stock shock to the new ones. The original shocks are long gone.

I used to trust KYB but no more. I spoke to the good folks at UMI and they have a QA1 coil-over single adjustable that works well on the street.

Unless somebody here tells me they're ****, I'll be getting them next week or so.
