Default how cold is too cold!?

my car runs at about 165 deg, thanks to the slp thermo i just put in, but i got tht slp fan switch aswell, but is there a certain point where the engine can run too cold?? jw

I think you're fine. On the fwy, my car sits at just below 1/4 temp, always has.

the colder the better. to a certain extent.

You don't want it to run in open loop all the time. But that is set at 125 I think, so you'll prolly be ok.

I had a 160 degree stat in my 93 T/A and in the Winter the heater never blew hot air. If I used a 180 stat it would blow hot air.
