Default quick question: alarm

I have a 97 Z28 and I want to turn up the sensitivity on the alarm. I searched and found that it is suppose to be above the spare tire. Am I not seeing it or what? I hear the horn beep when I lock the doors. Any ideas?

Is it a stock GM Alarm? If so it's probably behind the berger panel under the steering column as this is where mine is located. You'll know you have it when you see a brick sized unit with a ton of wires going into it and a single antenna wire sticking off to the side for the receiver. Let me know if you find it?

I finally found it. The two sided sticky tape wasn't sticky so the last owner stuffed it in between the seat and the panel.
