A/C on an LT1 I've installed an LT1 and 4L60E in my 56 Chevy. Motor and trans are from a 95 Firebird. I'm trying to use the factory brackets, but there isn't enough room for the A/C compressor. I've notched the frame, but still too tight. I've found a Sanden compressor that's 2/3 the size, and I think I can modify the bracket to fit the compressor. Will I have any problems with the computer, like fast idle, etc?
