So I bought some quality silicon hoses to top off my completely redone cooling system, and I really hate to reuse the really crappy hose clamps that come were on the car. I tried going to the Samco website for some info and all it gave me was a PN that none of their distributors carry. I measured the hoses and the outer diameters are all in wierd 16th measurements that I can't get on Summit with good Spectre hose clamps,

Don't the Samco hoses need a special hose clamp that doesn't dig into, and cut its outer surface?? I'd proceed carefully.....



On second though, try Lingenfelter's. They do/did sell Samco.

That's exactly why I'm not using my old clamps, I looked on summit but the odd sizes have me wary of buying anything...

Just get sheilded hoseclamps. The ones with a smooth band inside the slotted screw driven one. I do not have the PN but years ago when I did HiMiler hoses on my car Summit had an assortment pack of such clamps. I looked quick and think it was SUM-390500, I would order two kits since the LT1 system needs more heater hose clamps than most and this is a universal kit.

Those look good, but do you know if they have an assortment pack like that for t-bolt clamps? I like the construction of the t-bolts.
