Default Stock pressure plate question

Will a 12" (aftermarket) clutch disc bolt-up to the factory pressure plate on a 2000 WS6? Thanks in advance.

Having looked at this in the past the issue would be clearance. The 12" disc would contact on the edge of the plate and thus not spin freely. There are certainly aftermarket clutch kits that use a 12" disc (ours is one of these) and they will provide a healthy increase in capacity so if you decide to go the route of a bigger complete kit just let me know. Thanks!

This is for a friend of mine's car. I was just told the stock disc diameter is 12". Is that not correct?
