Default Just checking before I break something

I have only pulled LT1 T56's. I am in the process of pulling the trans from my 01. I just want to make sure that the hydraulic line can just be pulled out of the socket that goes into the transmission.

Do I pull on the line or is there a better place to pull?

Push in on the plastic sleeve while pushing in on the hydraulic line, when the plastic sleeve is pushed up against the slave housing you can pull the line out of the slave.
