replacing input shaft..any easy way to do it?

Default replacing input shaft..any easy way to do it?

i haven't done too much research yet but it almost looks like i can pull the front cover off and do it all without much work? any info vids article links exc. would be great its my first time in this trans and i don't know much about it. thanks everyone for all the help!

You can but you'll still need to check bearing preload on the input/mainshaft tapered bearings.
