Default What splines are the T56 input shafts???

Im an 03 Cobra owner, converted from the ls1 I used to have.

I have some question regarding the T56 and what kind of input shaft the big guys are using with the high HP setups. It seems as if the guy in the 03's are twisting the stock 10 spline input shafts some. There is an upgrade kit out there that is a 26 that is supposed to be pretty bulletproof.

Just wondering what a good place for aftermarket t56 parts are. Ive heard if D&D racing??? Also what kind of spline "you guys" have in your stock T56's.

F-body is 26 spline input, 27 spline output.

http://www.ddperformance.com is D&D. Good folks, got a box from them yesterday.

Here's a page that outlines all of the differences in T56's.

Why is the output and input number of splines different? I was trying to fit my new propshaft today and it just wouldn't go in.

Damn things got 30 splines on it... threw my back out before I found that out!!
