Default Transmission noise?

So nothing to point out that may have happened. All of a sudden noise when I have my clutch depressed at about 2200 to 1500 RPM's I'm getting a light to medium grinding noise that sounds like it may be coming from the transmission. Almost sound like the clutch pedal isnt fully clearing the plate from the transmission. Anyone have an experience with this?

I had a similar noise when reving in gear with clutch depressed while moving. Also wouldn't shift at high rpm. Ending up bing the Slave/pilot bearing. Shifts great now, no noise. How many miles on your slave cylinder?

As far as i know it's 85k.
I've had the car for 20k of that.
I'm starting to think it's the throwout bearing.

Default Shifting noise.

So my my tranny refuses to shift at high RPMs. It gives a loud bassy grinding noise. What is it? Bearings or synchros?

Clutch is fine.

How do I know if I have a bad throwout bearing or synchros?

Does the tranny need to come down to fix this junk?

Also if I'm in 4th, press down on the clutch and rev the engine the vibration/grind is there.

Those were actually the same symptoms I had. Was wondering if it was the transmission but ended up being the slave/pilot throwout bearing. Feels like I have a brand new clutch now. Does the car drive fine except for at high rpm? I would start with changing out the slave/throwout bearing first.
