Default LS7 clutch

So had a chance to take my new setup to the track yesterday. lets just say the LS7 clutch cant hold 500 rwtq. now it is time for somthing new.

Not trying to be a dick here but it might not be the clutch, mine held 610 lbs tq just fine.

Its not meant to be hot lapped. What was it doing.

try monter clutch package from Tick-Performance

it comes with everything you need ( clutch kit , chrome moly FW , GM slave , Tick MC & Bearings )

Mine held that fine launching off a 150shot. But as somebody else said, if you were hotlapping, thats the problem

It was on the first run of the day. first track run with new engine. i had this clutch for two years so i got my moneys worth out of it. i'm not knocking the LS7 clutch, it is just time for somthing new. i have clutch pieces hanging out from the bottom.
