Ram powergrip HD will it hold?
I installed a Ram Powergrip HD, billet steel flywheel and adjustable master cylinder about a month ago. Good stiff pedal and other than a little chatter its great. My question is im about to do a h/c/i set-up and ill mill most likely be at or around 480hp to the tires. Will it hold? I know that RAM says it will hold 600hp but i want some real world results. Anyone out there with info on this?

hm, i have one in my car too, but on a mild bolt on setup for now.
i seen one thread about "ram hd still cutting it" (i think) of a guy going like 10.4 and 1.46 60ft...ive also seen some other threads concerning this.

I had one in my car and it worked great with bolt-ons but didnt even hold one pass on the dyno with my new motor and it only put down 410 at the wheels. The clutch only had 2000 miles on it. If your and ls1 car i would say just get a monster and then you have nothing to worry about.

Mine wouldnt hold the 463 I had to the tires, I followed all the measurements and didnt end up having to use the shim they supplied, Installed easy and worked fine until my head/cam swap then like leonard skynard sang "cant you smell that smell" then it took a smoke break. Spend the money and get a monster. I was where you are, Bought the ram to save a few hundred and it ended up costing me here in the long run, Now I am buying a monster anyway.

This makes me very unhappy if this is the case for me because i dont even have 300 miles on mine.
