Default i have a question about my clutch

i have a 2001 camaro ss with a m6 and i have my motor out of the car because i worked on it over winter i got a cam and some other parts well my car is due for emissions and i really dont have the money to buy a clutch at the moment nor will i in the next few weeks im probably going to be runnin 450ish hp will my stock replacement clutch hold that cause i still have to get dyno tuned and i dont want my clutch exploding or any problems till i can get more money to buy the right clutch

will the stock replacement clutch hold 450-475 hp

Depends on the mods, your not gonna get 450ish HP from just a cam swap, If you do hit that number then NO your clutch will not hold it. At least not for long.

untuned you will not pass....but a stock clutch will hold 800 hp fine.....as long as you dont show that clutch the power the motor makes.

Yup he is absolutely right,,, The clutch will hold all the IDLE the motor can throw at it.

ok so if it will not hold can i buy just a clutch that can hold it and keep the stock flywheel and pressure plate?
