Suggestions for where to buy parts for Viper T-56 Conversion?
Hello,
First off, I've read the sticky "Viper T-56 Conversion "Write UP" Inside." and it WAS very helpful, but, their tutorial doesn't exactly match my situation (I have a Viper T56) and their suggestion for where to buy parts (Blumenthals) didn't work out for me. I called Blumenthals, was on hold for 15 minutes, then they told me all they had was the seal. I think I need all three of the following parts:
A. Viper Output Seal
B. Viper Tail Housing Bushing
C. Main Shaft Bearing, front
I actually have a Viper T56 that has had the input shaft changed to a fbody shaft and it's got a fbody front plate, bellhousing, and tailhousing. The guy I bought it from says the tailhousing has already been machined for the Viper bushing and seal, so it should be a press in affair. Trouble is, I'm having trouble tracking down the parts I need.
Anyone able to make a suggestion?
Thank you
Lane

Thank you gentlemen. I emailed Tick to see what they could do for me. If I don't hear back from them soon, I'll just buy the National Oil / Timken 5206 kit as both Autozone and Oreilly's have it for under $20.
Thanks again
