Default how to build my t56

i was wondering if anyone can tell me how to beef up a t56 as much as possible without changing the gear set. and how much power is the unit capable of handling after its beefed up

Install bronze forkpad, billet syncro keys, carbon fiber blockers, steel 3/4 shift fork. And if your making over about 600 hp you can upgrade to a viper output shaft

Take a look at www.tick-performance.com. Their Stage 2 will cover up to 600 ft lbs. Their Stage 3 Viper upgrade will handle over 600 ft lbs. There is also www.rpmtransmissions.com, and I know a guy (Rick) in the Frederick, MD, area who rebuilds the T56. He may even frequent this forum. If you look in the Frederick Craigslist, you should be able to find his ad if you search for T56 in auto parts. He does it on the side to support his "hot rod" habit.
