Default LS7 clutch need a break in????

I'm getting ready to get a LS7 clutch installed and was wondering if they need a break in period like aftermarket clutch's. I tried the search but really couldn't find any info. I know they say with the aftermarkets 500 easy miles with a lot of stop and go.

I really didn't think it would since it's OEM, but I'm going to have to make a 800 mile trip before long and was curious if I need to do a break in before I left.

500 miles with stop & go is the "norm". Your pedal will be close to the floor for the first 50-250 miles and then it will settle in the normal spot. I started beating on mine around 300-350 miles and it's been fine ever since.

I would say once the pedal comes up to normal position that you're good to go.

Is this the norm with ALL LS7 clutch's. I have read this before but really didn't know if they all did that.

Just get in and drive it normal for a few hundred miles before you throw the hammer down.

As far as I know it is. I drove mine pretty easy for at least 300 miles and I've been beating the **** out of it ever since.
