Monster level 4 still chattering.15,000 mi.
I put atleast 15,000 miles on my monster lever 4 clutch. Prob. 15 track passes, it still chatters, pretty bad. Does other lever 4 owners have that problem? This car is my dd. I went with the lever 4 clutch, because I do like to go to the track 2-3 times a yr. and I will have the nitrous up and running by next week. should be close to 600rwhp and 650tq. So I needed a clutch to hold up. It's just a pain trying to leave from a stoplight, or stopsign. It's just like a old button clutch I use to have in a 77 camaro. Im glad it's holding up great, just the chatter gets annoying sometimes.Oh yeah I did put the lightened 18lb. flywheel in there also, maybe that is why it chatters alittle more.

Thanks. I'll give you a call next week. Im not too worried about it, because I don't plan on pulling it out. It grabs great, 99% of my driving is long highway trips. Maybe the clutch needs a few good burnouts. " Going to the track next friday on the bottle".
Havent been to the track since about 12,000mi. ago.

what RPM are you letting out at?
i have found that my 11" likes a little RPM at takeoff and it doesn't like to be slipped. if not, it will chatter.
i had to change up my driving habits a little but it wasn't a big deal, just learned what the clutch liked.

I tried alittle more throttle also. It's like yours, it doesn't like to slip at all. I have to let it out quickly. Kinda reminds me of my old button clutch in my 77' camaro yrs. ago. But I would rather it be annoying then slip when I don't want it too..
