Default Swapping T56 into 72 SBC Nova

I took the oppurtunity and swapped parts out with a good friend who has a built T56 in his 97 Camaro.

A few questions I have about what all is needed for the swap.


Pedals - Can I just create a mount and use the stock Camaro clutch pedal or find a factory Nova piece? What all is needed to convert a factory Nova piece to work with a slave?

Clutch and Flywheel - I have a Spec Billet Flywheel and 3+ clutch that came with the swap. I have a early 70's 350 block with a 1 piece rear main. Does anyone make a conversion flywheel being the Spec unit I have is for a 2 piece rear main? Will I still be able to use this clutch and pressure plate as it's almost brand new?

Crossmember - will I be able to modify my auto crossmember to work and have the trans aligned properly? If some fabrication is needed, that is no problem.

This is going in my 72 Nova with a forged 12 to 1 solid lift AFR headed 355 with a single N20 plate. Just trying to make her a little more streetable so I can enjoy the car again.

I can't wait to rip some gears at 7k+. The auto was fun and did it's job very well, but after 6 years it was time for a change.

Are there any other tricks you all can advise me about, as far as mounting hydraulics and everything involved?

ok so the motor is a 2 peice seal or 1 peice seal?
