My transmision was replaced at 35,000 and my car now has 46,000, will I need to get a new slave cylinder or is the one in the car still good. Im in the middle of putting a Mcleod in so please tell me your opinions. Oh and if I should replace anything else please let me know.

Puttin in a Mcleod what? Master or clutch?
If its the clutch well either Iwould go ahead a replace the slave.
move up to the upgraded 01-02 slave.
Might want to look at replacing the pilot bearing. Things get pretty hot back there if you race much.

I am putting in a new Mcleod Clutch and I was just wondering if the current master cylinder i have is bad or not. The dealership replaced my transmission under warranty and they replaced the master so the new one I have has 11000 miles on it.

My stock master has 36000 miles on it and its been pushing My SPEC stage three in and out since 20000 miles.
I think the masters ok
For the 2000 Slave??? I would change that just to be on the safe side unless they put in the 01 Slave when they did the tranny swap.

Do the drill mod if you haven't and change all the fluid out.

Get the new 01-02 slave, it would be a pain to take everything apart again to replace the slave.

definately change it out I installed a spec 3 in my car and regret trying to save that extra $$$. Now I am going to have to remove everything to get to it.
