Default installing spec stage 3 clutch

im in the middle of installing a spec stage 3 clutch in my 2001 ls1 camaro. i have about 1/16 inch of space between my measurements b and a without any shims. does that sound right/is it a good distance between?

That should be fine. That is gap and not over lap right?

Then as long as your measurements are spot on, thats fine. Could even be a little more but my caddy was pretty close too. Engagement will most likely be more toward the middle to upper half of the throw.
