Default ls7 clutch question

im buying a ls7 pressure plate and disc from someone. he doesnt have the flywheel so can i just get any ls2 flywheel to work with it on my ls1?

Yes, I'm using an LS2 flywheel with my LS7 clutch.

i read somewhere that a gto ls2 flywheel wont line up.

yeah thats where i saw it. is it an fbody version that fits?

the LS2 flywheel will work im running one on my car with ls7 clutch.

You're right, don't get the GTO version. And you have 2 more options to consider for your flywheel, aluminum or steel? I just purchased the Fidanza aluminum version for my setup.
