i know this has prob been posted a million times just looking for some opinions or good links to other forums im running McLeod street twin approx 700hp with nitto 315 drag racing tires just wonder what kind of mod to the trans are recommended i know they recommend different input and output shafts and steel shift forks id like to overdo it if possible cause i may feel the need to drop the clutch 1994 t56 formula

Is a reference point... You want bronze fork pads, billet keys, steel fork, and the viper output shaft upgrade.. Various vendors will package it all in various ways...

Dealing with an older LT1 unit, you might want to look into a new 2nd gear also since the early units had smaller engagement teeth and are known to shear under power. All this should be rebuilt with performance shimming specs.

I offer the Stage 2 T56 build for $680, which includes a steel 3-4 fork and billet keys.

thanks for the links i got my mcleod clutch so i guess the question now is if everything will line up or if i gotta get a new clutch too cause that one that's in there is real expensive like 1400 or so i don't wana buy another one and you guys are talking about about a different spline count and i wana get a ford 9 inch around the same time so a custom drive shaft would be a must too
