Default T56 Shifter

Hi there, I'm in the middle of fitting a LS1 and T56 into a TVR Cerbera over here in the UK. I'm having a problem with the gear shift being in the wrong position, it looks as if I'm going to have to make some kind of remote linkage. The gear shifter needs to be in the inspection cover area, I have seen a modified macleod shifter fitted where the inspection cover is, do any of you know whether there is a readily available shifter on the market that can be fitted where the inspection cover is? I would appreciate any info as this would save me alot of time and modifying.

Regards Simon

The inspection plate area (bolt pattern) is "almost" the same as the T5 (or viper T56) shifter. It might be possible to make one work, but it's close.

You'd still need a way to fit an offset lever on the shift rod in that area..

The kit can be purchased though, so you don't have to adapt anything.

Thanks mate, that's exactly what I'm after. I can concentrate on something else now.
