Default 5 speed in c4 vette/RICHMOND TRANS

I have a 1987 Vette Convt overdrive unit quit working I contacted Richmond Transmission and they have a bolt in conversion.Only mods to trans tunnel is to cut out old shifter box on drivers side of tunnel add a piece of metal to seal it up Richmond trans will mate to driveshaft and shifter will work thrue stock consel opening a different shift boot will be needed also. This appears to be the easiest swap out there with the least amount of parts.

I have seen T56 in C4's. Even better was the LS1/T56 conversion. Total weight with the LS1/T56 conversion was under 3,000 lbs.
