Due to the larger bore size, you're flowing more fluid through our cylinder than you were with your stocker - a pedal pressure increase is indeed normal. When correctly installed, bled and adjusted, our kit will be ~15% more stiff than the stock master.

how stiff is your pedal now?

I installed one on a friends' car and could barely feel a difference from stock, but on my car it made it feel like there's a twin disk in there

Its normal when used with an aftermarket clutch. I have installed on both and it makes more of a pedal difference on aftermarket clutches. Like you said, you will get used it and all will be good.

I tried the clutch pedal in my friends' jetta and it felt like there was nothing there. I couldn't pick my foot up off the floor because I'm used to having to use 40 or 50lbs of force to keep mine down. On his car the weight of my foot alone held it down.
