Default pro 5.0 lous stick issues

just installed. gears 2,4 and 6 dont stay in unless i hold the gear for a couple sec, then i can let go and it will stay in. gears 1,3 and 5 go in find and without issue. the 4 bolts that hold the shifter base down are not adjustable and can only go in one way. could the rubber boot cover be catching on the shifts and not allowing it to go down all the way?

i double checked my stops "screw & nut" and they are fine, i even gave a little extra in case that was it the 2nd time i took it out.

That's odd. Sounds like your stops aren't set right or its a fork issue. It could be the boot getting in the way for some reason. Try installing it without the boot and see what it looks like when shifting through the gears.

I've had the LSS on the Pro 5.0 in 2 different TA's and I would swear by it performance/comfort wise.

did you make sure it was in "N" before installing the 5.0..just take it all apart and try installing it all again..or take a pic to show us how you have it installed and maybe we can help look to see if something is wrong..i have the same shifter in my 98 ws6 and its completely fine.
