If you're going to be making that kinda power, you might want to look into a twin disc style clutch. There are single disc clutches out there that can hold 700hp but they usually do not possess the same driveability and comfort as a twin disc. With that being said, I'd recommend the Mcleod RXT twin disc clutch if you plan on make the kinda of power you've mentioned.

+1 on the Stage 4+ Monster, I have one in my car, light pedal feel and holds a lot of power.

What kind of driving are you going to do with the car? Are you goin to go over 700 hp in the future? Give me a call and I can go over your clutch options.

It really all depends on what you are going to do...If you drive it every weekend or during the week I would definately get an auto...I have seen streetable 6spd F bodys that run 10's and have 450+hp at the wheels but most likely have only 1-2 and 3-4 gears and reverse and they hold up to track days, and ive seen them have the O/D gears still with monster stg4 or RAM dual disk setup, or any companys dual disk setup for that matter, but if your not in it for full racing or going for the 6spd F body record then take the $1000+ and the money u get from your 6spd and get a built auto. I myself only put down 328rwhp and I drive my 01 WS6 10-15k miles a year, its all stock except full exhaust and the only clutch that has held for me is the LS7 and I run street tires on 2k rpm launches with high 12 sec passes only. Seems the clutches that are rated for 400-500 ft lbs really only hold to 300-350rwhp on any launch with sticky tires, and most T-56 10 second cars I know of break a lot or if they drive them weekley with high HP and race clutches they burn them up every 3-5k miles. Only my opinion

I'd recommend the Diamond Stage 3. It will hold 700hp/tq with no problem. It uses a cera-metallic disc which is meant to last a long time and handle lots of abuse. My turbo'ed Camaro build is going to be making right around 650rw, and I'm only running a Stage 2.
Right now I have a special going on for $70 off a complete kit w/ free shipping. The normal price is $799, and includes a lightweight billet flywheel and slave cylinder. With the discounts, it comes out to $729 shipped.
