Default Seal between shifter mount and tranny

Need to get a seal for the shifter mount location. I saw a couple years back where they where being sold, but cannot find the vendor at this time.

Yea you can just use RTV. I have heard that the silicone rubber helps dampen some of the vibrations and stuff though so I will be cutting my own from a $2 piece of silicone rubber I found in the plumbing section at Ace Hardware. I'm sure any other hardware store has them too. It comes in sheets and the one I bought is 1/16" thick. I will also put a smear of RTV with it too.
