Which clutch for $400-600? Help please!
So I am deciding between two clutches at the moment, either the Centerforce DFX clutch kit, or the Monster Stage 2 Clutch. Please any information on any different clutches within this price range would be awesome. Thanks guys btw its for a 2000 Trans with LS1 and implanning on 400 Hpish

I use a Centerforce in my LS1 Camaro and it works great! I've never used a Monster but it seems like people are generally really happy with them. Either way I think you're making a good purchase.

TDP's Diamond Stage 1 or 2, search for reviews on here, you won't find anything negative
I have the stage 2 in my car. great price and a good balance of grab and driveability, you can drive it nice and smooth but when you want it to grab it bites like an animal

We've sold over 4000 clutches in the past 4 years, so there may have been a bad apple mixed in as nobody can be perfect, but that is why we are the only clutch manufacturer to offer a 1yr/unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturers defect with our clutches. If you have any questions about a Monster feel free to ask me. Chris, 817-750-2000

I didn't mean to quote him actually, my mistake. This thread had Monster in it and I was merely making others aware of our history and our warranty.
I am an employee of a clutch company, I'm going to post up in threads that ask about clutch options and threads that have Monster in them - nothing more to it.

I've actually noticed you clutch companies are all very civil and friendly with each other, which is something that can not be said for all sections of this site and manufacturers of other products hahah
and I believe my TDP clutch came with a 1 year warranty also, not that I plan on needing it

All I can say is Read Read Read, and you'll learn all that you ever want to know about all available clutch brands. Don't just go and jump on the bandwagon

i just installed on one of these in my car, im still waiting on an alxe, so i cant tell you any thng about it yet, but it is a good price, from a good company,we install southbend's diesle performance clutches all the time and they are very well built and extremely tough.
there are always more options out there. hope this helps. http://compare.ebay.com/like/2703776...=sbar&_lwgsi=y
if you are interested contact me, i sell these through my shop and could possibly save you some money.

then again there's tons of people on here who say "i've had one for xxxxxx miles and it works great" so do some more research before you settle on it
