Default Where can I find the U bolt that holds the M/C. Help me out here fellas.

Im lookin for the U bolt that holds the m/c in. I have called every junk yard around here but no one seems to have it because as soon as people find out there is a 6 speed car in there, they go buy it.

I am getting my car converted from an A4 to a 6 speed. I parted out my 6 speed and I sold that u bolt because I didnt realize that I was going to swap my A4 car to a T56. The deal just kinda fell in my lap.

ANYWAY, if you know where to get one or if you have one and you want to sell it to me then let me know. Thanks guys.

look in the classifieds, lots of people are going with aftermarket masters and don't use the U bolt anymore, I just gave my old master and bolt away actually

the U bolt is nice because you can just stick it in and not have to hold one side while tightening the other, but sometimes it is a PIA to get in. I wouldn't worry too much about it, just buy 2 regular nuts/bolts that fit and have a friend hold it to install/remove the master until you find one in the classifieds

It's not that pricey from a dealer or AC Delco dealer.
old no. 14076942
new no. 12568902
All manual 84-02 F-bodies; no other applications. Not just 6 spd cars.

Hey army, I've got one off a master cylinder I'm not using for my swap. Give me an address and I'll let you know how much for shipping.
