LS7 Clutch Self Adjust?
I just had a new LS7 clutch package, LS2 flywheel, throwout bearing, pilot bushing, '01 master & slave installed in my '01 SS. The system was bled very poorly so for the 1st 100 or so miles the the clutch engaged about 1" off the floor. I have since bled a shitload of air out of the hydraulics but the clutch now engages 3" off the floor.
My Q is will it "self adjust" to the new longer throw of the slave cylinder now that the air is bled out of the hydraulics?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
Nick

Really? Nobody knows?
I've searched many times for this and haven't found a straight answer yet.
How about this: With 120 miles on it, my clutch still engages 2" off the floor and shifts feel kind of notchy. Will this "self correct" (ie.. clutch engaging further from the floor) as I put more miles on it?
The Master & Slave are both new & were bled correctly.
Has anybody with the LS7 Clutch package had a low pedal that engaged higher as miles were put on it and if so, how many miles did it take ?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Nick
