changing trans fluid Changing my transmission fluid seems like its gonna be a pain in the ***. Does any one have some suggestions on ways to make it easier?

Suppose a guy just put the transmission back in the car, but hasn't put the shifter back in. Can the guy full the transmission through the shifter, thereby avoiding buying said $5 pump and needing to get under car?
