LT1 Clutch not fully disengaging
I installed a new Competition Clutch Stage 2 kit in my 97 SS a few months ago. I had my flywheel resurfaced and replaced my entire clutch hydraulics (master and slave) with a pre-bled unit from WS6Store. The clutch has about 600 miles on it, and the master and slave were just put in a few days ago (maybe 100 miles at most).
When my car is on flat ground, it does NOT lurch forward with the clutch disengaged in gear or anything. When it is on jack stands, the tires will rotate about 1/4 of the way and then stop. It will not go in reverse unless I turn the car off and turn the ignition to accessory, then I have to start it (sometimes the shifter will grind/vibrate on start up this way). I'm assuming the clutch isn't disengaging all the way when pushed to the floor. What needs to be done to fix this problem? I don't like driving it this way. The shifting is very notchy.
I posted a thread in the LT1 section about this as well, but I need more opinions.
