transmission question
so i figure i need to rebuild my t56 since it has reverse problems and 2nd gear problems and shifts kinda not too smooth, was just wonderin would a basic t56 rebuild fix my problem for the ugly shifting here is a link to see the basic kit

you have to be pretty mechanically inclined to rebuild a tranny yourself, i would ride that thing till it dies, maybe just skip 2nd for DDing LOL, then call/email tick performance, they have full rebuilds for 1k flat.

I had to skip 2nd and hold the shifter very hard into reverse to keep it engaged before I had this rebuilt. It would go into 2nd but only when stopped.
Anyway I did need a new 2nd gear, new sliders and got the billet 3 4 keys and steel 3 4 shift fork.

yea thats the same issue i had, i basically gottta hold it in reverse and 2nd is a jerk, so why did u only get the billet 3 and 4 keys and shift fork....or is that how it just is?
ps. does your car shift 100x better after that as in like crispy and smooth without havin feel like your shiftin thru a jagged edge
