Default Throwout Bearing??

Hey guys, I'm having problems lately with my clutch. The car will not go into any gear when running, but goes into every gear while not running. The past few weeks I've been noticing a very subtle whine coming from what seemed to be the clutch or tranny, after I changed the tranny fluid. A few nights ago, the clutch made a screeching noise when disengaged (pedal down) and after that, the tranny refused to go into gear. Would a bad throwout bearing make this whining noise when going out then prevent the tranny from going into gear when its done? Anybody have this happen? Thanks

Forgot to mention that the clutch pedal feels the same as it always has and the fluid is full, which leads me to think it has nothing to do with the hydraulics

Could be the bearing really the only way to find out pull it and look at the clutch .

Yea I plan on getting a new clutch assembly put in with pilot and throwout bearings, minus the hydraulics. I just want to make sure that's where the problem is at.

I'd bleed it using my method once.

If no improvement happens, pull it because the pilot bearing is probably at a minimum, bad.
